Baptisms at St. Mary's & St. Philip's
The Love of God is revealed through the marvel of creation, and little more so than through the birth of a child!
Each new life is a cause for celebration. Each new life is a life full of promise, hope, potential and opportunity.
In baptism we recognise that we are all God’s children – we are all children of God, our amazing and loving creator.
When you bring your child forward for Baptism you are:
- Acknowledging God’s love for you and your child;
- Giving thanks to God for your precious little one; and
- Welcoming your child into the family of God – not only on the day of their Baptism, but forevermore.
It is always a pleasure and a privilege to baptise someone into the family of God, and we are only too happy to have a conversation with you regarding what your child’s baptism involves.
A great way to meet our ministry team is to attend one of our Sunday morning services at either St. Mary’s or St. Philip’s. These take place at 10:30 am each Sunday morning (at St. Mary’s) and at 10:30am on the first and third Sundays at St. Philip’s.
Children are always very welcome at all of our services and refreshments are always served afterwards, so you are welcome to stay and have a chat with one of our ministry team and find out more about how to plan your service.
Please see our Worship Services page for more information about all our different types of Sunday service.
Shine as a light in the world, to the glory of God the Father.
